Being Single Series: Final Thoughts

For the past few weeks we have looked at issues for singles.  Being single can be tough but it can also be a time of growth for you as a person and in your relationship with God.  Ask God to help you rejoice in this time of your life.  Don’t fall into the trap of enduring your singleness until you marry.

I see a lot of people who let their singleness control them.  That will never work.  You need to control your singleness.  Live each day as a gift from God.  Surround yourself with friends that have the same values in life as you.  Make your dating checklist and stick to it.  Serve and volunteer your time.  Take advantage of opportunities to grow.  You have freedom as a single that married people do not have.  Enjoy this freedom and live it to the fullest.  Being single is a great time of life.  Don’t miss out on it.
