"Time to Communicate" by Dr. Kim
Did you know that most couples that say they communicate well also say they have a good marriage?
DId you know that the average couple before marriage communicates at least three hours a day?
Did you know that the average married couple communicates 35 minutes a WEEK?
And we wonder why we feel disconnected from our spouse. Communication is essential in a marriage and it obviously does not just happen. It takes time and effort and MUST be a daily priority.
Here are some suggestions:
- Set aside at least 15 minutes a day to talk without any distractions.
- Have a date each week for just the two of you and spend part of that time talking.
- Get in the habit of going to your spouse first when you need to talk.
Try those suggestions for 30 days and tell us what happens.
Dr. Kim.
