"Confidence" an Awesome Marriage Singles Post

Hi Awesome Marriage Singles! Today is a day that seriously needs some refocusing on what actually has substance. Charged political environments and crazy weather systems scream for our attention and focus. This is why today I want to share something from another of my mentors, Dave Jewitt. Dave is always encouraging me by directing me back to scripture in order to know Jesus and be changed by Him.

Hebrews 4:16 "Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need."

Since Jesus is our high priest, and fully understands us, we can go to God with confidence. We can bring our junk to him and experience his grace and mercy. We can receive his grace to help us in any situation. He knows the best way to help us.

He wants us to always approach him, to never hide or shy away. He wants us to always be confident because of who he is. He wants us to disclose all to him. (He knows it anyway.) He wants us to receive his grace and mercy. He is the perfect solution for any need we have.

When we live this way more and more our lives become like a magnet, drawing people to him. We show others grace and mercy. We will have a genuine humility with a bold confidence in him. We live more courageously and expectantly. We live the adventure of doing life with him.

Just remember that our enemy wants us to always hide and shy away from God. He hates it when we run to God and will do all he can to discourage us.

Lord, please teach me to approach you immediately and continuously every day no matter what. Thank you for always showing me your grace and mercy and for never failing to help me in my times of need.
