"An Awesome Marriage for Singles"

I am not married but I am excited that one day the Lord will open that door for me.  Therefore, today I am single and love the Lord which means, to use a biblical phrase, I get to go have fun working in His vineyard.  Here is a bit of follow up on last week’s intro. It is so important that singles across the world, especially Christ followers, realize that this time is their real life.  You, right now, are living your real life and writing a story that is worth something. Your life can be awesome now and can lead to an awesome marriage.

You have a great chance to get to know yourself, the lord, what you like, what you don’t, what you are passionate about, and lots more.  For the first 20 years of my life I was confused as to how I came across to people.  Does anyone else think back on a few years ago with horror about how you responded to circumstances and people?  With that in mind, can you see what a beautiful chance it is to wake up to yourself while single?  Right now you have the opportunity to submit yourself to Christ as He leads you towards an awesome life and awesome marriage.

He has showed you, O man, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God. Micah 6:8

Living an awesome life and seeking to have an awesome marriage is hard work.  This isn’t easy and yet you are not alone.  What is the Lord calling you to?
