Taco Soup Recipe


Brown the ground beef in a skillet, drain and set aside. Mix all ingredients together except the cheese, in a large pot or dutch oven and simmer for several hours. The corn is the only canned ingredient you drain.


  • 2 lbs ground beef, browned

  • 1 can kidney beans

  • 1 can pinto beans

  • 2 cans corn, drained

  • 2 cans Rotel green chiles and tomatoes

  • 2 packages Hidden Valley ranch dressing mix

  • 2 packages of your favorite dry taco seasoning

Optional, for toppings

  • Shredded cheddar cheese

  • Tortilla strips

  • Sour cream

Add toppings individually when serving
