Question: If you married someone thinking they loved you but find they married you because you got pregnant what do you do stay or go?
Dr. Kim: Honestly, many couples get married for not always the best reasons, BUT that does not mean the marriage cannot work. I know some people do not look at marriage from a Christian perspective and I totally understand that. It is my experience that when a couple makes a covenant with each other and God - no matter what their reasons for marrying - God does everything the couple allows Him to do to make the marriage work but it takes all 3 to make it work.
Question: I am struggling to trust my husband due to him cheating with other woman secretly. He knows that I don’t approve of that because if you are married you don’t say to other women how hot they are or how much you want them. He says he loves me but how do i trust that when things like that happens
Dr. Kim: Faithfulness in a marriage is much more than sexual faithfulness. Faithfulness means the husband and the wife do not engage in any activity that would focus on someone of the opposite sex. Words like ‘you are hot’ need to be for each other only! I hope the two of you can work this out.
